Explore the life and work of Jesus with Lutheranism 101 course
The Lutheran Church in Singapore is inviting participants to join a free online course, ‘Lutheranism 101 – All About Jesus’, based on a book by the same name. The program, conducted in English, explores the core teachings of the Christian faith, focusing on the person and work of Jesus Christ.
The course will be held via Zoom every Saturday from 3 May to 5 July 2025, and will run over ten one-hour sessions.
Session times (by timezone):
- 10.30am to 11.30am – WA
- 12 noon to 1pm – SA and NT
- 12.30pm to 1.30pm – NSW, Vic, ACT, Qld
- 2.30pm to 1.30pm – New Zealand
‘All About Jesus’ expands on the topic from Lutheranism 101, presenting the classic teachings about the person and the work of Jesus Christ, going into detail about his incarnation, life, miracles, suffering, death and resurrection, and what these things mean for all people.
Participants are expected to read the Lutheranism 101 The Course by Shawn Kumm chapter by chapter alongside the weekly sessions to gain the most from the course. If you don’t already have a copy, it is available for purchase from Australian Christian Resources.
