Support
We are here to help you with your IT questions and problems. We have a 24/7 support service lca.org.au/service where you can search our Knowledge Base for the answer to your question. If you cannot find your answer there, you can phone us – 9.00am to 4.30pm (SA time) Monday to Friday on 08 8267 7380 – or email us at itsupport@lca.org.au
Domain Name Registration
A domain name is the address of a webpage; for example, yourchurch.org.au Subject to approval of your proposed name, we will register your domain name on your behalf. Because of our buying power, it is likely that we can offer discounted prices. If you already have a domain registered elsewhere, you can transfer it to us. Once your domain name is registered, you can use it for your website, email addresses or both.
Website Hosting
Web hosting is like renting space on the Internet. It secures a dedicated space for your website. We can provide this service for LCA congregations and agencies. Your website will be stored on an LCA-managed server in Australia, which, in turn, is supported by a national hosting company. Our website hosting service is available to all LCANZ agencies and congregations at discounted prices.
LCA Email Addresses
LCA email accounts are issued to all pastors and other church workers, including staff paid through the LCA Human Resource System (HRS), volunteers registered on HRS, and all other users who have access to LCA resources. LCA IT administers this service to the church. We protect all LCA email accounts with Multi-Factor Authentication.
LAMP2
LAMP stands for Lutherans in Australasia Members Portal. LAMP (upgraded to LAMP2) is the LCANZ’s electronic directory for pastors and other church workers, volunteers, boards and committees. You can also find congregation details, including worship services. For security reasons, only authorised people are able to access LAMP2.
Telstra Partnership
The LCANZ has negotiated phone, landline, cybersecurity and internet connectivity packages with Telstra for its agencies. This includes congregations, aged-care and community services, schools and early childhood services, and churchwide and district offices and agencies. The LCANZ's partnership with Telstra utilises our collective buying power to secure benefits for all entities of the church. This is a great example of what we can achieve when we work together.

Hardware
We are using our bulk-buying power to negotiate discount prices for hardware. Our trusted supplier is Blackbird IT. This offer is available to Lutheran congregations and agencies with a registered ABN. The application process to buy discounted hardware will be available here soon.
Software
We use our bulk-buying power to negotiate discounts and not-for-profit prices for Microsoft, Webroot and Adobe software. This offer is available to anyone who is employed or volunteers in a Lutheran congregation or community. We will need a referee to confirm your eligibility.
Microsoft 365 – Cloud Storage and Teams
Utilising the LCA’s not-for-profit status and your LCA email address, we can offer your congregation Microsoft’s 365 package, which includes cloud storage for your congregation’s files and Teams to support your communications and collaboration.

Zoom
Utilising the LCA’s buying power and your LCA email address, we can offer your congregation Zoom Enterprise at the Zoom Pro price. This is a significant reduction on the regular Enterprise price.
Cyber Security
Our LCA email system defends up to 15,000 attacks a week. That's 41 every hour! We are constantly monitoring and upgrading our defences but by ourselves, we can only do so much. Cyber security is the responsibility of each one of us. If you use the internet, you need to be cyber-savvy. Just one crack in our fortress leaves all of us vulnerable. So, let's join forces and work together to build one unbreakable line of defence against the attackers. We're here to help you.
