Stepping out in love and action
During August and September, more than one thousand members and friends of our Lutheran Church have been stepping out all over Australia in ALWS Walk My Way events, walking, strolling, striding or waving (encouraging others) to protect refugee girls in danger of child marriage in Kenya and Somalia.

Twenty-two women discerning a call to ministry, training for pastoral ministry or serving in pastoral ministry gathered at Luther Heights Youth Camp on Queensland's Sunshine Coast from 2 to 4 September for the 2026 Gathering of Women in Pastoral Ministry.
