The LCANZ Season of Creation (1 September and 4 October) resources for 2026 are available now on the Worship Planning Page, and congregations are encouraged to begin this season of prayer and action for the environment with a special service.

The LCA website now includes an enhanced ‘Find a Church’ tool and a new ‘Find a Worship Service’ feature. Information is drawn directly from LAMP2, so now is a great time to check that your congregation’s details and worship service information are correct.

After 36 years of ministry, creativity and service, Verena Johnson has retired from the LCA. From pioneering children’s ministry to writing dramas and worship resources, editing ministry publications and supporting church workers across the LCANZ, Verena’s faithful service has blessed countless people in the church.

National Reconciliation Week runs from 27 May to 3 June, with the 2026 theme, All In, encouraging Australians to take part in the ongoing journey of reconciliation. Worship, prayer and study resources are available to support congregations, including materials for Holy Trinity Sunday.
