Messages of Hope on contentment, dementia and change
The Messages of Hope featured in August include the topics of confidence, contentment, dementia, coping with changing and letting go of control.
Many of the Messages of Hope have a corresponding short video that can be viewed online on our website. The videos, podcasts and booklets are ideal for your mission efforts and can be easily shared with others.
Where is hope when you feel weighed down with responsibility?
When life is weighing you down, and you feel overwhelmed, God is here. You can share your burdens and worries with him. You are not alone. God cares for you and is always near to listen and help you.

Contentment
Contentment in this world is an elusive thing. Even with our necessities met and a few perks thrown in for good measure, it can still feel like something’s missing. The truth of the matter is there will always be a void if we tie our sense of inner peace to the fleeting things of this world.
Offering insight on some key practices to implement concerning contentment, our Contentment booklet shows how being truly satisfied is very much tied to our perspective. Citing the Apostle Paul’s illuminating view on contentment as found in the book of Philippians, the booklet drills down to the source of the peace and satisfaction in this life.

How do you cope when someone you love has dementia?
Where is hope when you or someone close to you is diagnosed with dementia? Loving someone with dementia is tough, but those moments of love can make a difference. Jesus is also here to carry and love you too. Watch our short video on dementia on YouTube.
Inside our Dementia booklet, people share their stories about living with dementia. They provide invaluable insights into dementia for the sufferer, carer and the community. They share what helps, what doesn’t help, and the positive impact we can all have on people struggling with dementia. You’ll discover that despite dementia, there is hope.
