Raising your hand to speak
To speak at convention, there is a virtual line to the mic. Delegates will be able to raise their hand to indicate they wish to speak.
To raise your hand, select React

then select Raise Hand.

Once your hand is raised, the 'front table' will be aware.
You can click Lower hand to lower your hand and remove yourself from the queue.

Once your turn to speak has arrived, the chair will invite you to speak.
An unmute button will appear in the middle of your screen. Click Unmute to start speaking.

Remember: State your name and where you are a delegate BEFORE you speak to the notion. Lower your hand once you have finished.
Raising a point of order
If you need to raise a point of order, you can do so by selecting the red cross in the react menu.

The chair will then invite you to state the point of order.
Reminder: please unmute. Please note that this may not be instant. Allow for some short delay.
Please click on the red cross (reads: no) icon at the bottom of the screeon once you have spoken.

Electronic voting
Electronic voting is not difficult and you can change your vote up until the close of voting.
You will receive the voting instructions and login via both email and SMS on the morning of the meeting.
You will receive the SMS from VeroVoting. Click the link, login, and select your vote.

You will also receive an email.

Some other areas of note:
1. Registration on the day for special convention
Follow the same process as you did to join this webinar. This will also check you in for electronic voting.
2. Do not log out of the meeting
Please stay logged in to the convention throughout the day.
'Losing' the meeting
If you are using your computer to both attend the meeting and vote you may 'lose' the meeting.
You have not been logged out or removed from the meeting. Instead, the meeting screen has minimised because you have focussed on another window.
To restore the meeting, find the floating box, and select the expand button (small arrows pointing in opposite directions).
