LAMP 2 Search People

Open the LCA Portal

  1. Log into the LCA Portal.
  2. Open an internet browser (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer).
  3. If requested, log in as per your normal LCA username and password.

Open LAMP2 and then the People app

  1. Select the LAMP2 app.
  2. Then open the People app.

Find a person

  1. Search for the name of the person.
  2. Click on the search area to enter the person’s last name (recommended).
  3. Then either:
    • Click on the search icon.
    • Click the Tab key.
    • Click the mouse anywhere on the screen.

    A list of people will be provided.

  4. Click on the > arrow next to the person’s name to open up the information about the person.
  5. This will provide the results.
  6. Your previous search is retained when you return to the list (click the < arrow). To go back, click the < arrow. You can also email directly from the app.
  7. When in the list of names or in the search areas, to clear the search, click on the ‘wipe’ icon.

Notes:

  • Use the last name as the preferred search term for a person.
  • Partial names will work to bring up the person you are looking for.
  • If the person’s data is incorrect, please alert them so they can update it directly in HRS.

Search by role type
You can search by role type of the person and then refine it again using the search as above. Keeping the search field clear means that all the people in the role type are selected, but only the first 15 are displayed, so you should refine the search further to reduce the number of answers.

Search by district
Similar to the above, the search can be refined using the district that the person is in.

Add or edit individual details
The source data for People data is HRS.
To update your LAMP2 contact details, please log into HRS.
Open the LCA Portal.

  1. Log into the LCA Portal.
  2. Open an internet browser (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer).
  3. If requested, log in as per your normal LCA username and password.

Open LAMP2 and then the HRS app

  1. Select the HRS app.

Edit mobile phone number – organisation mobile. This is your organisation mobile phone number. It will be displayed in LAMP2.

  1. Select My Details in the HRS menu.
  2. Select My Contact Details.
  3. Enter your organisation-issued mobile phone number into the Mobile Phone No field. Note this is NOT your personal mobile phone. This phone number will be displayed in LAMP2.Use the format xxxxx xxx xxx (4 digits 3 digits 3 digits).
  4. Then click Save to save the number.
  5. Note the number will be updated in LAMP2 overnight.

Edit mobile phone number – personal mobile
This is your personal mobile phone number. It will not be displayed in LAMP2.

  1. Select My Details in the HRS menu.
  2. Select My Contact Details.
  3. Enter your personal mobile phone number into the Other Number 1 field. Use the format xxxxx xxx xxx (4 digits 3 digits 3 digits).
  4. Then click Save to save the number. This updates the HRS records so that you can be contacted as necessary.

Edit work phone number
Email HRS (lamp2@lca.org.au) with amended details to have this organisational information updated. In most cases, this will be the standard phone number for your organisation and will not need to be changed. For those who do not have an organisation-issued mobile phone or do not use a mobile phone, this will be the primary telephone number.
