Lutheran nurses recognised

Sharon Berridge has been named the 2023 Lutheran Nurse of the Year. The Executive Care Manager of Tanunda Lutheran Home in South Australia’s Barossa Valley, Sharon was recognised with the annual award by the Lutheran Nurses Association of Australia (LNAA) on 12 May, International Nurses Day.

Nominations call for Lutheran nurses award
Nominations are open for the Lutheran Nurse of the Year award for 2023. The award recognises faithful and outstanding service during the preceding calendar year by a registered or enrolled nurse who is an active member of a Lutheran congregation in Australia or New Zealand.

Lutheran nurses honoured

Wayne Kroker is the Lutheran Nurse of the Year for 2021. Wayne was one of two Queensland Lutheran nurses honoured by the Lutheran Nurses Association of Australia (LNAA) to mark International Nurses Day. Shirley Klinge, of Laidley, Queensland, was honoured with LNAA Life Membership.

Lutheran Nurses honoured
Two Lutheran nurses have been honoured by the Lutheran Nurses Association of Australia (LNAA). Angela Uhrhane, of Wodonga, Victoria, was named the inaugural Lutheran Nurse of the Year, while Lynette Wiebusch, of Adelaide, was named an honorary LNAA Life Member.

The Lutheran Nurses Association of Australia (LNAA) has established a Lutheran Nurse of the Year award. The recipient will be announced each year on International Nurses Day (12 May), beginning next year.
