We Lutherans often miss the fact that in our baptism the Spirit of God comes to live in us. We need to change our thinking from ‘I need to share my faith’ to ‘How can I participate with the Spirit who lives in me?’

Changes to General Synod
The GCB has agreed to hold the 20th regular Convention of General Synod in two parts: an online meeting in early October 2021, which will then be adjourned until the meeting resumes in-person at a location to be determined in 2022.
Walking together in faith
It’s nearly time for our church to gather as a synod once again, as we do every three years. The synod includes all our congregations and parishes across Australia and New Zealand, and representatives from various ministries, such as Lutheran schools.
