Congregations supported in mission
Ten LCANZ congregations will be supported in outreach endeavours through the inaugural grants from the church's Local Mission Fund. The fund is designed to enhance a mission culture across the church.

LCA Child Safety Standards updated
In preparation for round two of the Child Safety Self-Assessments and Child Safety Standards Action Plans, the LCA Child Safety Standards have been reviewed to check they continue to be fit for purpose and cover all the changes occurring in child safety requirements across Australia.
New Australian Lutheran church body established
The General Church Board and College of Bishops has notified LCANZ pastors and congregational leaders that a new Lutheran church body called Lutheran Mission – Australia (LM-A) has been established.
Spirit of respect marks first framework gathering
Almost 70 people met in a spirit of mutual respect at Cummins in South Australia on Sunday, for the first face-to-face gathering of the Preparation and Prayer phase of the LCANZ’s Way Forward project.
