Midweek Lenten services resources available now

Lent is a significant season of the Church Year as we prepare for Easter. During this season, we may practise spiritual disciplines like fasting, prayer and giving, with a special focus on repentance.

Midweek Lenten services are held in many congregations as a time for special study and meditation on the suffering and death of our Lord, while Sunday services focus more on the themes of repentance and discipleship.

Congregations wishing to hold midweek devotional services throughout Lent will find everything they need on the Seasonal Resources section of the Worship Planning Page. The webpage provides music suggestions and a basic service structure, plus fully stocked services in Word and PowerPoint and a range of sermons to choose from.
