GIFT Lent (Growing in Faith Together)

Passing on the Christian faith involves a partnership of generations, individuals and families. Grow Ministries’ GIFT Lent is a great resource for congregations, schools and homes to share the rituals and traditions of Lent and Easter in a fun and interactive way.

You can use it to encourage families to share their faith with activities for all ages. Full of activities, craft, worship ideas and dramas, GIFT Lent is also an excellent resource for schools. It also provides all you need to hold an intergenerational worship service or event.

Grow Disciples

As you begin the year, perhaps you are thinking about starting a confirmation program.

Grow Disciples’ curriculum has five modules: God’s Big Story, the Old Testament, the Story of Jesus, the New Testament and Being Lutheran. It includes everything you need for preparation and session materials.

The modules can be used in the way most helpful for you. You can use an entire module or individual sessions to design your own program. Parts of the sessions, an activity, or a set of discussion questions could enhance what you have already created. The modules are designed to be flexible and to help you, the leader, create relational and compelling sessions as part of a lifelong discipleship journey.

It also includes a Faith Practices booklet and a resource support pack of games, activities and prayer ideas to enhance your welcome and relationship-building, interactive learning and application portions of your Grow Disciples modules.

Living the Catechism

Are you looking for a basic confirmation course or an interactive resource to introduce your household, family or small groups to Martin Luther’s Small Catechism?

Grow Ministries’ Living the Catechism resource is designed to be used along with Luther’s Small Catechism to learn about the teachings of the Christian faith through the Lord’s Prayer, the Ten Commandments and the Apostles’ Creed. Use a different sheet each week, fortnight or month.
