Church planting opportunity with New and Renewing Churches partner

Are you someone who yearns to see your neighbourhood reached for the gospel and transformed by the Spirit? Are you a visionary leader or an entrepreneur who wants to use your gifts to connect, serve, bless and make disciples of Jesus? Are you a pastor or leader who wants to take the next step into engaging people in your city for the glory of God? Have you ever considered whether God might be calling you to be a church planter or to join a church planting team?

Jesus said, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few’. One of the critical needs for the LCA and other denominations is to identify and recruit people who are called to join in God’s harvest by becoming church planters or joining a church planting team.  

New and Renewing Churches invites you to take up the opportunity to explore this call with our partners in the gospel, City to City Australia (CTCA). CTCA works in Australia’s towns and cities with men and women leaders to plant and revitalise churches and grow movements of the gospel.

In May and June 2022, CTCA is looking to identify one hundred of the next generation: serial entrepreneurs, leaders, pastors, teachers and ordinary disciples who are united in their determination to bring a Jesus movement to their towns and cities.

To help do this, CTCA is offering 3 webinars to explore or discern a call to church planting.

Planting in Australia? – 11 May, 7.30pm to 9.00pm (AEST)
Women in Planting – 25 May, 7.30pm to 9.00pm (AEST)
Planting in New Zealand – 8 June, 7.30pm to 9.00pm (NZST)

We’d love you to join us at one of these webinars to hear from church planters, explore the opportunities and learn about the training, coaching and funding resources with which CTCA can connect you. These webinars are for anyone who is discerning a possible call or already moving towards church planting.
