LCANZ Bishop Paul Smith has shared a brief prayer guide and worship resources in response to the escalating conflict between Israel, the United States and Iran. Encouraging members to ‘seek peace and pursue it’, Bishop Paul calls the church to pray for leaders, civilians, soldiers and all affected.

More than 120 people gathered in Duncraig, Perth, Western Australia, last month as Grace Chinese Lutheran Church celebrated Lunar New Year with worship and a shared meal – a joyful milestone for this Local Mission Fund-supported ministry.

In December 2025, the General Church Board approved a reviewed version of the church’s Standards of Ethical Behaviour. The reviewed document now incorporates a church code of conduct.
