Be careful of barbecue conversations – because you never know where they might take you. Especially if you are newly retired and have an open mind about where God might be leading you. That was certainly true for Warren and Marianne Schirmer, who have followed God’s call in their retirement.

The 20th General Synod elected Pastor Paul Smith as the LCANZ’s next bishop and Pastor Neville Otto as the assistant bishop. Delegates also elected the General Church Board to serve the LCANZ for the 2021-24 synodical term.
