Find a Church malfunction
We are aware of ongoing issues with the Find a Church function on the LCA website. We thank you for your patience while we work through this.
Church service times and addresses, as well as aged care, residential and community services, schools and early childhood services, are also affected.
Please assure your congregations that we are aware of this issue.
If your congregation's details are incorrect on Find a Church and you wish to submit a ticket so we are aware of your specific issue, you can do so via the LCA Portal.
Gifts & Benefits Policy and Pastoral Care Policy
In October last year, the General Church Board reviewed and approved the church’s Gifts and Benefits Policy (previously titled ‘Gift Acceptance Policy’) and Pastoral Care (Harassment and Abuse) Policy.
Gift & Benefits Policy
The purpose of the policy is to encourage high standards of honesty, transparency and integrity within the church, in the giving and receiving of gifts and benefits.

Pastoral Care Policy
This policy supports the Prevention of Risk of Harm from a Person of Concern Policy. A key term in the Pastoral Care (Harassment and Abuse) Policy to note is that the church provides pastoral care and support for people who have experienced abuse or harassment and for their families, as a priority.
To assist local leaders and leadership bodies to implement the policy, as required, some guidelines have been prepared. You can download the policy and the guidelines here: www.lca.org.au/policies
