If you have a heart for serving the church, can be in Adelaide in late September and/or early October this year and don’t already have a role at the LCANZ’s Convention of General Synod, then we need you!

If your LCANZ parish has not yet submitted your General Synod delegate details and paid your delegate fee, please do so as soon as possible as these are now overdue.

General Synod lay delegate details and proposals are due on 31 March 2024.

Grace as God’s unifying gift to his church will be the thematic focus of next year’s LCANZ 21st Convention of General Synod in Adelaide.

The offering from this year’s LCANZ Convention of General Synod in-person meetings is contributing more than $30,000 towards a Finke River Mission (FRM) project producing, revising or reprinting Lutheran song and hymnbooks in Central Australian Aboriginal languages.

Pastor Andrew Brook has been elected as the next bishop of the LCANZ’s South Australia – Northern Territory District.
