General Synod sermon support for congregations

With many LCANZ pastors attending General Pastors Conference (GPC) and General Synod in suburban Adelaide from later this month, congregations across the church will be able to hear the sermons prepared for Sunday worship at the churchwide gatherings.

LCANZ Bishop Paul Smith, who will preach for GPC worship on 29 September and for the General Synod service with St Johns Unley congregation on 6 October, will pre-record his sermons before the events at Concordia College. These recordings will be available for congregations who wish to screen them on those Sundays.

Congregations that cannot screen video recordings or prefer to have a message shared by a lay reader will be able to access written versions of Bishop Paul’s sermons.
