For 68-year-old Queenslander Anne Maczkowiack, walking the 800-kilometre Camino De Santiago trail across Spain was only a part of a post-retirement reward in 2014. She and husband Robert decided to add an extra 300 kilometres to start from Barcelona. That says something about embracing opportunities

Ian (Watto) Watson, founder of the ‘Shed Happens’ movement, died yesterday, 5 December. ‘Every bloke’s a champion!’ was coined by Ian as a rallying encouragement to men to be all that God called them to be.

Walking on sunshine
More than 270 Lutherans and friends have walked or run up to 26km in the inaugural Sunshine Coast Walk My Way in Queensland to help support almost 2200 refugee children to go to school.

LCA members affected by floods, fires
The homes of at least two LCA members from Townsville were inundated during the North Queensland city’s floods from late last month, in which 1.4 metres of rain fell in just 12 days and at least three people died.
