Congregational Leadership Training now free to access

The Congregational Leadership Training was developed by Grassroots Training (ALC) and LCA Churchwide and District staff several years ago in response to calls to provide information to congregational leaders (ie church councils, chairpersons, secretaries and treasurers).

It was hosted through ALC, and undertaking the program incurred a small charge. You can find out more about the training program here.

We’ve been working with ALC to make the Congregational Leadership Training more accessible.

The Church Worker Support Department will now be covering the cost of this program for all LCA congregations and members. You will need an LCA email address and login (the same as you use to access the LCA Portal) to unlock the Congregational Leadership Training unit on ALC’s iLearn.

You can access the ALC iLearn platform here.

If you don’t have an LCA email account, contact churchworkersupport@lca.org.au and we will be able to provide you with an enrolment key code to unlock the training.

If you don’t remember your LCA email account access details, please liaise with the LCA’s IT team by emailing them at ithelpdesk@lca.org.au

The whole Congregational Leadership Training module is going to be reviewed over the next few months and we’ll let you know when changes have been made. We’re working with ALC and other stakeholders to improve the content and to make it as meaningful and relevant as it can be for a wide range of users.
