Welcome, pastors Ben, Mitchell and David

The LCANZ has welcomed three new pastors to its ranks over the summer. Ben Graham and Mitchell Kitson were ordained at their home congregations of St Johns Bundaberg in Queensland and St Petri Nuriootpa in South Australia respectively, while David Cherry, whose home congregation was Wodonga in Victoria, was ordained at Holy Cross Birdwood in South Australia where he completed his vicarage. 

David Cherry was ordained on 5 December 2021 by SA–NT District Bishop David Altus. David, whose first parish is Wagga Wagga New South Wales, was also joined in his ordination service by his vicar father, Pastor David Kuss, who formerly served at Birdwood; and NSW–ACT District Bishop Robert Bartholomaeus.

Mitchell Kitson, who begins his parish ministry at Mount Gambier South Australia, was ordained on 12 December 2021 by SA–NT District Bishop David Altus. Mitchell was joined in his ordination service by his dad, St Petri Pastor Adrian Kitson and his vicar father, Pastor Ben Pfeiffer.

Ben Graham, whose first parish is Lowood in Queensland, was ordained 9 January 2022 by Queensland District Bishop Mark Vainikka. Ben, whose father and two brothers are also LCANZ pastors, was joined in his ordination service by his dad, Pastor Greg Graham, who serves at Bundaberg; brother Pastor Joseph Graham, and Bundaberg’s Pastor Ryan Norris.
