LWF director visit

The director of Lutheran World Federation’s Department for World Service, Maria Immonen, will be visiting Australia next month.

Along with Australian Lutheran World Service board meetings and meeting with representatives of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Ms Immonen will give two public speeches in South Australia during her week-long visit.

On Sunday 4 September, she will speak at Bethany Lutheran Church, in the Barossa Valley, while on Monday 5 September, she will address an audience at Australian Lutheran College, North Adelaide. Ms Immonen will speak on the global humanitarian and refugee situation.
