LCA Policies

Some people think the Lutheran Church of Australia's (LCA) policies and procedures are just a bunch of rules that make our work and service in the church more complicated. That's not how we view them, and it's not the way we want you to view them either. Yes, a purpose of many LCA policies is to comply with the laws of the land. Primarily, though, as a church, we want to see God's love coming to life in every part of who we are and what we do. Our policies and procedures give us practical guidance to help us to care for and protect God's people and to encourage the good use of his gifts to us. Our policies and procedures reflect the LCA’s core values and help us to reflect God's love to each other and to all who come into contact with us.
