LCA appoints Community Engagement manager

The LCA has appointed Jodi Brook as its new Community Engagement manager, with responsibility for Lutheran Archives, Communications, the Local Mission Fund and the Church House Exhibition Centre.

Jodi had been serving as the LCA’s Local Mission coordinator and acting manager of LCA Communications and Lutheran Archives prior to taking up the new role. She previously served as director of Grow Ministries for 12 years.

In her new position, Jodi will oversee four ministry areas that support the LCA’s mission and engagement with the wider church and community.

‘I’m excited by the opportunity to bring together these areas of ministry and service and to help tell the stories of how God is at work across the LCA,’ Jodi said. ‘Each of these areas plays an important role in connecting people with Christ, and I look forward to supporting that work.’

Executive Director of Church Operations Brett Hausler said Jodi had demonstrated a strong commitment to God’s ongoing mission through her leadership and service.

‘Jodi brings valuable experience, a collaborative approach and a genuine passion for serving Christ and his church,’ Brett said. ‘We are delighted to appoint her to this role and look forward to her leadership of these important ministry areas.’

Jodi commenced in the role on 20 April. She is a member of St John’s Lutheran Church, Unley, in suburban Adelaide.
