Easier enrolment for Safe Church training
Creating and maintaining safe environments for children and other vulnerable people remains a key responsibility across the LCANZ. The Safe Church team continues to support the church in navigating changing requirements and best-practice safeguarding expectations.
In response to feedback about the enrolment process for self-paced online Safe Church training modules, new enrolment forms will be available on the Safe Church training webpage from 6 October 2026.
The updated process will significantly reduce the number of enrolment steps. Once you enter your details, an Australian Lutheran College (ALC) iLearn account will be created automatically if you do not already have one. You will also be automatically enrolled in the relevant Safe Church training modules, removing the need to use enrolment keys.
Feedback on the new enrolment forms can be sent to LCA IT Support at itsupport@lca.org.au
Questions about using the iLearn platform should be directed to the ALC iLearn support team at ilearnsupport@alc.edu.au
Visit the Safe Church training webpage for more information: www.lca.org.au/safechurchtraining
Due to staff absences, the Safe Church team is currently operating at reduced capacity and will not be delivering live online Safe Church training webinars during October and November. If your training needs are urgent, please consider completing the self-paced online modules instead.
