Support available for church workers through support program

If you are on the Roll of Pastors (currently in active service), on the Roll of Lay Workers, or an employee paid through LCA Payroll, you and your immediate family members can access the LCA’s Church Worker and Family Wellness and Support Program, delivered by Empatia at no cost.

Empatia is a Christian organisation that provides Christ-centred, confidential support for a wide range of personal and professional challenges, including workplace or relationship conflicts, mental health challenges and trauma support.

Empatia has also recently updated its online resource library, with resources covering pastoral supervision, critical incident counselling, and financial, vocational, mental and emotional workplace wellbeing management. Resources are available for individuals experiencing challenges, as well as for managers, team leaders and others supporting colleagues or friends.
