The Lutheran Women of Australia (LWA) National Convention will be held from Wednesday 2 October to Thursday 3 October 2024 at Unity College in Murray Bridge, South Australia.

Over 800 visitors viewed a stunning handcrafted display showcasing the women of the Bible in the Angaston Lutheran Church hall for the 2019 Barossa Vintage Festival.

Of the delegates registered at Convention, 161 voted against the resolution to ordain both men and women; 240 supported it.

Members of Lutheran Women of Australia (LWA) have donated almost $300,000 over the past three years to support church projects both in Australia and overseas.

LCA Bishop John Henderson has called on all members to pray for the church’s leaders, and the delegates and organisers of next month’s 19th General Convention of Synod in Sydney as they prepare for the triennial meeting.
