Social media – some people love it, others hate it, and there are a range of opinions in between. Like many tools, social media can be used for good and it can be used for evil.

Social media offers us an opportunity to reach thousands of people with the good news of Jesus Christ and his message of hope.

We want everyone in Victoria to know that we are praying for them as they struggle through Stage 4 lockdown. So we’ve launched a PRAY FOR VICTORIA social media campaign and are posting encouraging messages for Victorians on LCA Facebook.

Members of two LCA congregations have added their voices to the Australian version of ecumenical internet music video The Blessing. More than 300 churches, worship leaders, artists and Christian ministry groups from around the nation took part in the project, which premiered on YouTube on 7 June.
