Pray for the persecuted church. Over 360 million Christians live today in situations where following Jesus means they are persecuted, imprisoned, isolated, shunned, beaten, tortured or even killed.

Pray for delegates and organisers of the 20th Convention of General Synod, happening from 9 to 12 February in Melbourne.

Pray for those of different cultures and language backgrounds who have arrived recently in Australia and New Zealand. May they have an opportunity to meet with Jesus through his people here.

Pray for congregations and individual Christians to be humble and bold in sharing the good news of Jesus intentionally with those who are outside of the church.
