Pray for Synod delegates and organisers

Pray for delegates and organisers of the 20th Convention of General Synod, happening from 9 to 12 February in Melbourne.

Pray for wisdom, clarity and a sense of unity, for the leading of the Holy Spirit, for delegates to listen carefully to one another and to the leading of the Spirit, and for God’s will to be done.

While there are many important decisions before the Convention of Synod, pray that mission – our calling and commissioning to ‘go’ into all the world with the good news – would be a key focus and that decisions made at Convention would help the LCANZ step out confidently with the good news of Jesus.
