The LCA’s Stamps for Mission project has raised nearly $447,000 and all proceeds are donated to LCA International Mission programs and projects.

For 68-year-old Queenslander Anne Maczkowiack, walking the 800-kilometre Camino De Santiago trail across Spain was only a part of a post-retirement reward in 2014. Several key Australian missionaries and their families went back to Papua New Guinea to celebrate the 50th anniversary of St John’s Lutheran Church, West Goroka. The celebrations took place over three days and included a service, a one-day seminar and a cultural show.

Wantok Place, the LCA/NZ’s museum of Papua New Guinea artefacts, is now open to the public.

Rarities, mysteries, culturally significant pieces and items of high monetary value are among an LCA collection of ‘extraordinary’ artefacts set to be relaunched in a new home with a new name.
