For more than 60 years, retired teachers Trevor and Liz Winderlich have been working together to plant and grow schools in Australia and Papua New Guinea (PNG), sowing seeds of faith for God to harvest.

Current and previous PNG missionaries, families, MKs (‘mission kids’) and friends – anyone with an interest in PNG! – are welcome to attend the Qld Bung Yumi 2025 on Sunday 12 April 2025.

When ALWS Executive Director Michael Stolz attended the opening of a women’s conference in Papua New Guinea recently, he wasn’t expecting the announcement made by the chief of the host tribe, who said they would be honoured if Michael accepted their prize pig!

You are invited to join an online gathering with young people from the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Papua New Guinea to hear stories of mission work by former missionaries and talk with them.

Warrambui Retreat and Conference Centre near Canberra has run a volunteer internship program for young people from around Australia for more than 30 years. But in 2023, the Lutheran camping ministry program became cross-cultural, welcoming its first participants from Papua New Guinea.
