In October, our Messages of Hope programs feature finding peace through depression and anxiety. With more and more young people experiencing mental health issues associated with the pressures of life, how can we best support them?

The 2023 Local Mission appeal focuses on supporting our young people in finding their leadership potential within our church. In a recent episode of the LCANZ’s Laudio podcast, ‘Young leaders – our hope and joy’, we heard from Elsa and Joel, two young adults using their gifts in their churches.

As I write these words, I suspect I’m talking to people closer to 60 than 20, and (like me) you long to see young people return to faith. We are faced with a ‘mission’ that calls us (older ones) to cross the generational divide and inspire the next generation. So, let’s unpack this challenge.
