When 24 young Lutherans gathered in Adelaide for the LCANZ’s Young Adult Forum earlier this month, their sense of hope for their church’s future inspired presenters and participants alike.

There were seven young people enrolled in the year-long confirmation class at St Mark’s Lutheran Church Dalby in Queensland’s Western Downs region when it began in mid-2021. But by the time they completed the course, there were eight people confirmed!

A big part of Grow Ministries’ work is to develop resources that support families and congregations in their ministry to children and young people. As the end of the year approaches and we look forward to a new one, Director Jodi Brook highlights an updated resource.

God always intended that our formation in the Christian faith would be at the heart of family life. To support congregations in their partnership with families, Grow Ministries has created the new resource Woven Together to help parents nurture their children’s faith.
