Lutherans for Life – a group within the LCANZ united by a common desire to promote the sanctity of God’s gift of human life – has a new-look web presence.

Good looks and yoga are among the most recent topics addressed by the LCANZ’s ethical decision-making guides.

In response to a call from the Lutheran education community for teaching and pastoral care advice on identity and gender, the LCANZ has approved a cover letter to be read in conjunction with the ’Created and Loved’ Christian guide – the Australian Catholic Bishop’s Conference Statement for schools.

Voluntary Assisted Dying legislation has been introduced in Australia and New Zealand. As it is now a legal process, the Lutheran Church of Australia and New Zealand (LCANZ) has outlined how God’s people can respond to this practice.

General Church Board has approved a statement on Caring for Creation. All entities of the church are asked to promote the paper within their communities and implement its guiding principles in their local settings.
