We Lutherans often miss the fact that in our baptism the Spirit of God comes to live in us. We need to change our thinking from ‘I need to share my faith’ to ‘How can I participate with the Spirit who lives in me?’

Jennifer Cruz (Wyndham missional community, Vic) has always struggled with sharing her faith. Now she’s learning that relational ministry is not about how well she knows the Bible or what she does for God. It’s about what God is doing through her.

Sometimes church planter Chris Podlich (Beyond Church, Qld) still feels the weight of responsibility. But these days he’s more likely to remember, ‘If Jesus has called to it, he’s going to get you through it’.
