The LCA has been accepted into the Australian National Redress Scheme for people who have experienced child sexual abuse in institutional settings.

Our Lutheran family is supporting more than 40,000 refugee children in Africa to go to school, through the ALWS Grace Project. However, many more children need support for their education.

Members are being invited to contribute to consultations as part of the church’s commitment to developing a child-safe culture. The consultations are part of the LCA Child Protection Project, which was established to oversee the implementation of recommendations from the Australian Royal Commission.
