Deep conversations about how Lutheran theology informs Lutheran education practices were a feature of recent Australian Lutheran College-led workshops for aspiring leaders in Lutheran schools and early childhood services.

A change in academic direction has provided an extra blessing for Australian Lutheran College student Darcee Anker, who is this year’s recipient of the Margaret Pech Memorial Scholarship.

After months of collaboration, Australian Lutheran College and Cross-Cultural Ministry are delighted to launch a new online training course to serve those in the LCANZ who want to engage with ethnic newcomers.

There have been several changes at both governance and leadership levels at Australian Lutheran College in early 2022, including a new academic dean and board members.

There are two guiding principles behind Australian Lutheran College’s new strategic plan: its identity deeply embedded in the history and life of the LCANZ, and the need to embrace and respond to the diverse needs of a 21st-century learning church.

Australian Lutheran College (ALC) Principal James Winderlich was among 98 graduates awarded for academic achievements by the University of Divinity last week. The online graduation, along with the ALC Valedictory Service held in November, rounded out the year for the college.
