Nearly 200 people attended the ordination service for Jeffrey Wheeler at Mount Liebig, 325 kilometres west of Alice Springs.

On Monday 28 October 2019, Unity College in Murray Bridge South Australia presented Year 12 students with a variety of awards and acknowledged their graduation during a valedictory service. Among the graduating class were four students from Areyonga in the Northern Territory.

Pastor Rosendale treated all people as equal, his pastor, David Spanagel, said to the mourners who gathered to remember him on Friday 4 October in his hometown Hope Vale in Queensland.

Dr George Rosendale, the third Aboriginal person ordained in the Lutheran Church of Australia (LCA), died on 11 September, three weeks after the 50th anniversary of his ordination. He was 89.
