With some major celebrations such as Commemoration of Reformation and All Saints just around the corner, the Worship Planning Page has prepared full suites of worship resources for your congregation to use.

Students from Queensland, Tasmania, Adelaide and Vietnam attended Australian Lutheran College’s (ALC) recent ‘Christian Liturgy and Church Rites’ intensive (a Greek intensive was held earlier this year), which was hosted by St Petri congregation in the Barossa Valley from 19 to 24 August.

New LCANZ Online Worship and Ministry Guidelines have been prepared to support congregations and church agencies engaged in or considering livestreaming and other online ministry activities.

The Commission on Worship, in collaboration with Lutheran Earth Care Australia and New Zealand, has made available Season of Creation worship resources for 2024. Congregations are encouraged to begin this season of prayer and action for the environment with a service on 1 September.

New prayers, liturgy and music resources prepared by the LCANZ Pastoral Care Working Group have been added to the Worship Planning Page.

The LCANZ’s Commission on Worship maintains a list of congregations and parishes that offer live-streamed worship services.
