Wantok Place, the LCA/NZ’s museum of Papua New Guinea artefacts, is now open to the public.

The Lutheran Church of New Zealand (LCNZ) has its own ‘Kiwi’ Catechism. The new translation in Maori and English was launched at the LCNZ’s recent 40th Convention of Synod.

Dr Nigel Long’s appointment as LCA Secretary of the Church was announced last week. Concern for the vulnerable and disadvantaged led him to apply for the role.

As National Sorry Day (Sunday 26 May) and Reconciliation Week (27 May – 3 June) approaches, LCA Bishop Henderson encourages all Australians to show each other Jesus’ reconciling love.

The Lutheran Nurses Association of Australia (LNAA) has established a Lutheran Nurse of the Year award. The recipient will be announced each year on International Nurses Day (12 May), beginning next year.
