This week our pastors from Australia and New Zealand have met at Concordia College, Highgate in South Australia, for their General Pastors Conference.

Developing a missional culture and forming relationships that provide outreach opportunities do not happen overnight. So, foundations laid before mission gets going are essential.

On a blocked-off street in the northern Sydney suburb of Macquarie Park, marquees and tables have been set up to serve and feed 80 to 95 locals from the nearby housing towers. They’re gathering on a Friday evening for Midtown Eats, a community-building ministry served by members of LifeWay, Epping.

The Amunturrngu Mount Liebig Church building was completed around the year 2000. At that time, it was just a large shed, serving the community’s basic needs for a place of worship and gathering.
