Record crowd for carols

A record crowd of around 4000 people attended the Community Carols by Candlelight in December at Jacobs Well, Queensland, almost tripling the population of the cane-farming community between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Bethlehem Lutheran Church Woongoolba has hosted the annual carols night as an outreach to the local community for the past 24 years. Australian ministry team JAM (Jesus and Me) joined local musicians, a choir, singers, and children from Lutheran Ormeau River District School to provide entertainment.
