GCB approves Caring for Creation statement
Earlier this year, the General Church Board approved for publication the Doctrinal Statement and Theological Opinion (DSTO), Caring for Creation. The paper was produced by the LCANZ’s Commission on Bioethical and Ethical Questions.
All entities of the church, including congregations, are asked to promote the paper within their communities and use it as a resource as they find ways to care for God’s creation in their local settings. The Lutheran Earth Care website is a rich repository for resources, and it is anticipated that, over time, CSBQ’s Lutheran Earth Care team will be producing new resources to support congregations.
