Young Lutherans share inspirational witness

Seven young representatives of Lutheran churches in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea inspired General Synod delegates, visitors, volunteers and LCANZ staff with their hope-filled witness at the Convention dinner at Concordia College, Highgate in suburban Adelaide last Friday.

Emcee Dr Tania Nelson introduced the four young Lutherans from Indonesia, three from PNG and three from Australia, many of whom shared encouraging testimonies and their reflections on the Synod themes of grace and unity, as well as challenges faced by churches today.

‘What a cause for hope and joy’, Tania said. ‘We thank God for the inspirational witness of these young people.’
