Opening sentence
When you call, the Lord will answer;

O Lord,
watch over your family
with your constant loving-kindness,
so that those who rely solely
on the hope of your heavenly grace
may always be defended by your protection;

Praise to you, O Christ.

Make us faithful in doing what God requires,
so that we may be salt and light in the world.

Almighty God,
we thank you that you have revealed your wisdom,
the wisdom of Christ crucified.
Teach us to live as your people.
