Preparing worship services?
Weekly service preparation resources – Located on the Home Page, simply click on the box for the week you want. Services are usually available 4 weeks in advance. The upcoming week is shaded green. Navigate by clicking on the row of dots underneath the boxes to move the slider on.
Elements of Worship – Feeling confused about all the parts of a worship service and how to pull all the pieces together to create a worship service? The Commission on Worship has recorded a series of videos on the key parts of a worship service, the role of music and the visual Arts in worship, and how to encourage inter-generational worship, The final video gives advice on how to put together a worship service order.
Planning Ahead – You may want to work more than a month ahead. If so, go to Planning Ahead to find lectionary calendars, Sunday by Sunday resources and a Sermon database.

Elements of Worship – Video 6: Music in Worship video and fact sheet – very helpful for individuals and groups wanting to understand how music fits into worship, the factors to consider when choosing music and where to find resources to help you.
Weekly music suggestions – In each week's Prepare Services on the Home Page you will find song and hymn suggestions for each of the week's Bible readings, as well as the Top 4 Public Domain hymns, the Top 4 All Together and Lutheran Hymnal Supplement hymns under copyright and the Top 4 Contemporary Songs for the week. Copyright information, links to Modernised Hymn lyrics and backing tracks for hymns are all provided.
Modernised Lyrics, Recordings and PPTs – Go to our Music Resources section for Music advice, Psalm Settings and Sung Liturgy, Lutheran Hymnal Resources including a Downloadable Hymnal Resources database with backing tracks and lyric PPTs, a Modernised Hymn Lyrics Database, and a wealth of other resources.
Worshiping from home or preparing small group Bible studies or worship?
Online Worship – check out the large number of live-streaming and online worship options for people unable to attend worship in person.
Prayers and Devotions – a range of resources to assist households and small groups, including the Everyday and Seasonal Prayer Orders (perfect for preparing staff or small group devotions), prayer resources, links to devotional resources and a series of Bible Studies.
Resources to Go in Service Orders tab of the weekly Prepare Services – fully stocked service orders in Word and PPT, these have the prayers, readings and hymn lyrics already supplied.
