Dramatising the Readings

The readings can be read by more than one person to make the dramatic meaning of the text clearer.

For instance, the first reading from Isaiah 6 could be read by four readers: narrator, seraph, voice of Isaiah, voice of the Lord. A soloist or group could sing the ‘Holy, holy, holy’ from the liturgy at v 3 – but not including the ‘Blessed is he …’
The gospel from John 3 could be read by three readers: narrator (the pastor), Nicodemus, Jesus
