Looking for a way to prepare for Christmas at home? An Advent calendar with a difference? Follow the days of Advent (beginning on the first day of December) by placing a candle or Christmas decoration on each day until Christmas Day and participating in the activity or idea together as a family or household.

Growing Faith at Home

The new Growing Faith at Home resource starts in Advent – the beginning of the church year – and is a weekly lectionary-based resource to help households, individuals, and small groups live, share and celebrate their faith journey each and every week. It has been designed to help connect weekly congregational worship with the faith life of the home. While the primary target is households with children and young people, it is flexible enough to be used by a variety of people in a variety of ways.

GIFT Advent event for Christmas celebrations

Are you planning a worship service or an all-age event this Christmas? The GIFT (Growing in Faith Together) Advent event resource provides a range of ideas to encourage the sharing of Advent rituals and traditions that have been passed through many generations and an opportunity to make new ones. This is a great event resource for congregations, schools and homes.
