Grow Kids now available for all three lectionary years

Grow Kids is a lectionary-based children’s ministry curriculum. You are helping to ‘Grow Kids’ in knowing Jesus and to respond to his love through storytelling, worship and service.

Designed as a teaching curriculum, it has so many components to choose from. You can choose from the varied sections like a menu. This resource provides opportunities to tailor the sessions to suit your audience.

Perhaps you are looking for a school classroom devotion. You can use the Story of the Week, the Prayer and the Blessing for your students. There are excellent background notes about the Bible story to help understand the context of the story. The delivery of these stories ranges from a simple re-telling to a creative drama. There is a breadth of Bible stories from the Old and New Testaments.

Perhaps you would like to focus on the catechism. Children can be introduced gradually to the basic teachings of the Christian faith. The Lutheran Church uses the Small Catechism of Martin Luther, which is based on the Ten Commandments, the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer and the sacraments of baptism and holy communion.
